CEWHA in the Hockey Hall of Fame

CEWHA in the Hockey Hall of Fame

As of November 2017, the Whitecap Canada Cup that is awarded to the national champion every two years, has a new home in the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. The HHOF has the Cup on display in an exhibit that showcases how hockey has changed over the years for various demographics, including persons with disabilities, women, indigenous people, etc. The exhibit can be found inside the HHOF near the entrance.

On January 2, 2018, members of the current national champions Toronto Rock made the trip to see their names in the HHOF. Smiles could be seen all around as the players found their name. It was a special moment for the team to see their accomplishment recognized and enshrined in what has become a sacred place for the hockey world.

If anyone is in Toronto, be sure sure to make the Hockey Hall of Fame one of your stops and see the accomplishments of our para-athletes both past and present.
